John & Marialuisa's Wedding | The Royal Ambassador

Getting to know J + M through the entire engagement process was so sweet. Every choice they made was so intentional- from taking their engagement photos on Toronto Island which had a significant piece of their love story attached to it (before it flooded, lol) to all the people who surrounded them. They truly had a whole squad of people cheering for them on their big day-starting with their parents. M's dad got the most beautiful moment of seeing his little girl in her dress for the first time, no one was holding it together and the day had barely begun! This moment set the tone for the rest of the day.

I remember being struck but the gentleness they had for each other and thinking even in the early stages of getting to know them that their wedding day would be just like them: Romantic, intentional, and full of intimate smiles for each other. A little rain on the wedding day didn't stop them, and John carried his high-heeled bride more than once across the grass so her heels wouldn't sink in. He loved every minute of it!

All the way through to the reception, I could tell that everyone who talked to the couple that day felt seen and valued and that J and M knew how blessed they were to be surrounded by so much love.
